🐾 Blue’s Golden Years Fund – EUTH ALERT 07-08-2026

Meet Blue, a sweet 13-year-old Pit Bull who deserves comfort, care, and a loving place to spend her golden years. ❤️

Blue entered OC Animal Care as a stray on 7/5/26. Despite everything she is facing, shelter staff describe her as a friendly, sweet, and affectionate girl who enjoys human attention. She has a gentle spirit and is showing everyone that she still has so much love to give.

Blue urgently needs rescue due to her medical needs. She is suffering from serious dental disease with severe gingival hyperplasia and dental calculus, severe discharge from her right eye, swelling on the left side of her muzzle that requires further evaluation, and painful mobility issues affecting both hind legs.

Her veterinary exam also showed signs of arthritis, including crepitus in both knees and an abnormal gait. Blue is a senior girl who needs continued veterinary care, pain management, and a comfortable environment where she can heal.

The shelter has warned that Blue could decline medically without timely rescue placement. She needs a committed rescue partner who can provide the care and support she needs.

Hope Paws Support Fund is raising money to help remove financial barriers for Blue’s rescue. Donations will help support her transportation, veterinary evaluation, medications, dental care, foster placement, and ongoing senior care.

Blue has spent her life loving people. Now it is her turn to receive love, compassion, and a chance to enjoy her retirement years.
