10/05/26 09:31 Reporting Party(RP) reports that a transient man was bitten by his Pitbull. Per RP the man has (2) pitbulls. Per RP the man was bitten around 0850 AM while his dogs were fighting on his calf area which broke skin RP was unable to determine which leg was bitten. Paramedics arrived on the scene while I was on the phone with RP. (1) dog is leashed up near the activity address and (1) dog is in the car. RP is unsure if the man has any next of kin to come and take care of the dogs.

10/05/26 10:56 Upon arrival I met with dog owner who was standing near his vehicle. He told me he was with his two dogs Munchi and Jake when they started to fight. He told me at some point during the altercation he was bitten and was unsure what dog bit. He told me he recently sold his home and is now living in his vehicle or at motels. Owner’s wounds were bandaged before my arrival, but he described his wounds which consisted of 2-3 lacerations. I explained quarantine to owner and he understood. Both dogs were loaded onto my vehicle without any issues. Munchi had some wounds around his face which appeared to be punctures. Munchi was overall healthy besides the puncture wounds. Jake also appeared healthy with no visible injuries.

10/16/26 – Stoic and tense – whale eye with dilated eyes and tight muzzle.

10/16/26 12:52 Nervous and tense in kennel, low growls and hides in the back.

Jake has a history of dog aggression towards other pets, including multiple attacks, causing severe harm to a companion dog in an established relationship and tense body language. Given his history, having him around campus and our other pet residents poses a risk to them and our volunteer/staff handlers. Suggest placement with rescue.
