Our Mission as a Nonprofit Helping Dogs in Need
At Hope Paws Support Fund, we help dog owners cover unexpected medical bills, provide rescue organizations with funding to save and transport dogs in need, and connect dogs with loving homes through a trusted network. Together, we ensure every dog gets a second chance at a healthy, happy life.
How We Fulfill Our Mission
Emergency Veterinary Care Fund
Direct financial assistance paid directly to veterinary clinics so families never have to choose between their dog and financial stability.
Rescue & Pull Support
Fund rescue pulls to extract dogs from high‑risk shelters and transfer them to verified rescue partners.
Dog Transportation Network
Support safe transport to move dogs from overcrowded shelters to foster and adoptive homes.
Dog Network & Adoption Support
Strengthen the rescue network by connecting dogs with adopters through outreach and professional content.
Hope Paws Support Fund is built on compassion, transparency, and action. Every effort is guided by the belief that no dog should suffer, and no family should face heartbreak alone simply because help wasn’t available. Together, we can ensure that financial hardship is never a death sentence for a dog and never the reason a family is torn apart.
This is more than a nonprofit—it is a promise. A promise to stand beside dogs, families, and rescues when hope is needed most.
Our Story
Hi, I’m Natalia Boiko, founder of Hope Paws Support Fund. For years, I’ve been dedicated to helping dogs in need—advocating for them, sharing their stories, and doing whatever I could to give them a better life.
Hope Paws Support Fund was created in February 2026 to provide emergency veterinary support and funding for families and rescue groups when they need it most.
Everything changed when my own dog, Ariel, suddenly required urgent veterinary care. Faced with overwhelming medical bills, I realized firsthand how heartbreaking it is when families cannot access critical care for their pets. No pet owner should ever have to choose between saving their dog and protecting their own financial stability.
At the same time, I was already deeply involved in the rescue community. As the administrator of the Facebook group Dogs matter: 🚨 Rescue 🚨 Adopt 🚨 Foster 🚨 Share, I built a network of passionate animal lovers, rescuers, and fosters. I’ve helped connect dogs with rescues, shared urgent cases, and personally pledged funds to give dogs a second chance. I saw firsthand how pledges often make the difference: dogs with committed funds get rescued, while others are left behind.
Seeing these situations from every angle—families in crisis, shelters overwhelmed, and rescues stretched beyond capacity—made one thing clear: a safety net is urgently needed. One that steps in when families and rescues are doing everything they can but still need support.
That realization led to the creation of Hope Paws Support Fund—a nonprofit dedicated to providing emergency veterinary care and funding to families and rescue groups in need.
How Your Support Turns into Rescue
Our Promise: We operate with complete transparency. You can follow the impact of your donation through our updates. Here is exactly how Hope Paws Support Fund turns your generosity into action.
1. Pledge or Donation to a Specific Dog
When you see a dog featured on our “Dogs in Need” page, you can choose to pledge or donate directly to that dog’s emergency care.
- Pledge: A pledge reserves funds for the dog’s rescue and medical needs. It signals to partner rescues that support is committed, which can increase the dog’s chances of being pulled from the shelter or receiving urgent care. Pledges can be fulfilled later when you are ready to donate.
- Donation: A donation is an immediate contribution to that dog’s emergency fund, covering medical expenses, veterinary care, or transport to a foster home.
Every pledge or donation is life-saving. Even a small contribution can tip the scales for a dog in urgent need.
2. General Donations – Fueling Our Core Programs
When you make a general donation, your gift powers our four life‑saving programs:
- Emergency Veterinary Care Fund
Direct financial assistance paid directly to veterinary clinics so families never have to choose between their dog and financial stability. - Rescue & Pull Support
Funds paid directly to verified rescue organizations to cover pull fees, enabling them to extract dogs from high‑risk shelters and save lives. - Dog Transportation Network
Safe transport using volunteer drivers and commercial services to move dogs from overcrowded shelters to foster and adoptive homes. - Dog Network & Adoption Support
Connecting dogs with adopters through social media outreach, rescue coordination, and professional content to showcase adoptable dogs.
Your donation helps us respond to the most urgent cases—dogs on euthanasia lists and those requiring immediate life‑saving treatment—while sustaining the programs that save lives every day.
3. Applying for a Grant (Our Aid Program)
We provide financial assistance to qualified low-income pet owners and approved 501(c)(3) rescue organizations through a formal application process. This aid helps cover unexpected veterinary bills and medical expenses to prevent surrender and suffering.
Please note: Our grant program is contingent on available funding. Currently, our ability to award grants is temporarily paused as we rebuild our resources. Your donation helps reactivate this vital lifeline for pets and families in crisis. We invite you to partner with us in making an immediate impact.
