Stormi’s Surgery Success Story: A $1,000 Grant Helped Her Get the Care She Needed
Stormi is a 4-year-old American Bully mix who needed surgery to remove a growing mass from her mouth. When her family became worried about her health and the cost of surgery, Hope Paws Support Fund stepped in to help.
Through our Emergency Veterinary Care Fund, we provided a $1,000 grant toward Stormi’s surgery.
A Growing Mass and a Worried Family
Stormi’s mass continued to grow until it was hanging outside her mouth. Her family was heartbroken and worried about her health. They knew she needed surgery, but the cost was another source of stress.
No family should have to face a situation like this without support.
Helping Stormi Get Surgery
Hope Paws Support Fund provided a $1,000 grant to help Stormi receive the veterinary care she needed.
The surgery was successful, and the mass was removed. Stormi returned home to recover with her family by her side.
Stormi Is Home and Recovering
Stormi is now eating soft food, taking her medication, and resting as she heals. She still needs time to recover and gain some weight, but she is already starting to look like herself again.
We are so happy that Stormi can focus on healing and spending time with the people who love her.
Help More Dogs Like Stormi
Stormi’s story shows why emergency veterinary assistance matters. Unexpected medical expenses can put families under tremendous stress. A grant can help make needed treatment possible and give a beloved dog a chance to recover at home.
Hope Paws Support Fund is a 100% volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides grants to support emergency veterinary care, rescue pulls, and dog transportation.
