Brook’s owner was incarcerated. Although he got his freedom, he left Brook behind.
She has been friendly and affectionate on some occasions, but at other times, she is flighty, nervous, and displays defensive behaviors. Brook enjoyed playgroups with other dogs that matched her high energy. She does have some prey drive, and the shelter recommended no children.
Due to unpredictable reactivity towards select handlers and visitors (lunging, snapping, etc.), Brook is not a candidate for public adoption and must be placed with a rescue.
These dogs were moments away from an entirely different outcome. Instead, they got out—because people acted.
