Thanks to Pugs and Kisses Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Strut is finally safe and has a chance to heal. But his journey is far from over.

For weeks, Strut has lived with a devastating leg injury. Imagine living with a broken arm so severe that even changing a bandage requires sedation. That has been Strut’s reality. He has endured multiple fractures, infected wounds, swelling, and constant pain. Veterinary notes describe him crying and yelping during treatment.

Despite everything, Strut has never lost his gentle spirit. He still wags his tail, greets caregivers with kindness, and leans in for affection. He has every reason to give up—but he hasn’t.

Now comes the next critical step: surgery.

Pugs and Kisses Animal Rescue and Sanctuary stepped up to save Strut’s life, but his orthopedic surgery is expected to cost $4,000–$5,000. We are raising funds to help cover these medical expenses so the rescue can focus on what matters most—getting Strut the care he desperately needs.
