Raider adoption is complete! This sweet blue merle Catahoula Leopard Hound mix (ID: A1878348) has found his forever home after being at-risk at Riverside County Animal Control – San Jacinto Shelter.
Raider first came to our attention on February 14, when we began our efforts to help him find a loving home. At the time, Raider was at Riverside County Animal Control – San Jacinto Shelter, a neutered male weighing 48 lbs and just around 11 months old. Despite his young age, Raider was considered an at-risk animal, and we knew we had to act quickly to give him the chance he deserved.
Thanks to the dedication of shelter staff, volunteers, Raider’s journey has come to a happy ending. Special thank you to Brenna D’Estito Chapman on Instagram (@wop.undercover), who tirelessly networked and eventually found the perfect adopter for him! Yesterday, Raider was welcomed into his forever home, leaving the shelter behind and stepping into a life full of love, care, and adventure.
Stories like Raider’s remind us why our mission matters. Every dog deserves a chance to be safe, healthy, and loved. By supporting shelters, rescues, and at-risk animals, we can continue to save lives—one paw at a time.
If you want to help more animals like Raider, consider donating or spreading the word. Every contribution brings a dog closer to their forever family.
